The curious case of the bottle of Hepz
Every morning Micah and I make our rounds around the apartment. The stops on the rounds include the changing table, his pet net, the bathroom to watch dad get ready and the kitchen (for breakfast finally), and the washer and Dryer. Micah loves to do laundry. Well he did have a pretty big laundry pile. So this morning we set out to do his laundry, I went around the house collecting random pieces of clothing, my last stop was the diaper bag. As I was shuffling through my adorable green bag, I came across a tiny piece of heaven, a bottle of Hempz lotion. I love this lotion, it smells amazing. I had a flood of questions fill my mind, "how did that get there, how long has it been in there, where did it come from, who is it from, did I steal this on accident?" I definately didn't steal anything but I have no idea where it came from. My only conclusion is that it is a gift, so someone has gone without a thank you from me. So I just wanted to say, whoever you are thank you so much.

The year of homemade gifts
As is the case for a lot of people, money was in short supply this year. I always feel a lot of pressure when it comes to getting people gifts for Christmas. With the help of friends and family, this year I decided to make most of the gifts that we passed out. For my parents and Grandparents I made scrapbooks, I had all of the supplies to do this actual hard copies of pictures. For my Grand parent's scrapbook I had family send me pictures that they wanted in the scrapbook. For mine and Ryan's parents we just gathered pictures from the last twelve months, I had all the pictures printed for just a few dollars. There were other gifts but I don't have pictures and explaining them would just take too much time.

This is a Tutu that I made for my niece Haley, I have to thank my friend Valery for this one, not only did she show me how to make the tutu, but she also provided me with the materials. Thanks Val!
This is a gift that I gave out to my friends, it's just a simple sled ornament but I love tree ornaments and I just had to make these.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
First things first
I can't beleive how horrible I have been at keeping this blog updated. The first thing I need to do is share my pictures of Micah. I can't believe that we are coming up on one year, I feel like I just brought him home.
This was taken in the begining of December, although it was chilly, the weather was nice enough to play in the park. He hates his hat.
This is Micah right after a bath, his hair was looking very curly so I had to get a picture of it.

Micah is sporting a pair of Ryan's headphones, Micah loves music so much. You can't see it in the picture but he playing with the keyboard. Every time Micah hears music playing he begins to dance; I love it!
The first present Micah opened for Christmas was from his uncle Jordan, bellow Micah is what Micah received.
Jordan was trying to get a U of U jersey, Luckily he bought the BYU one.
On Christmas eve we were having a family party over at my parent's house. I couldn't get Micah to go to sleep so my mom and my sister placed him in this blanket and swung him right into a lumber.
This walker was a gift from Micah's Nanna and Pappy (my parents) he was having a lot of fun in his new ride.
Here Micah is playing with the blocks that he came along with his alphabet train, a gift from his Grandma and Grandpa (Ryan's parents).

This is one of very few pictures that exist of me and Micah together. I am always behind the camera taking his pictures. This is us hanging out earlier today.
